CDI Engineering Solutions (CDI) is joining the parade of large corporations relocating to Texas. CDI has announced plans to move its corporate headquarters from Philadelphia to Houston March 1.
Houston is a hub for all things energy and chemical, and this location will provide better synergies between CDI and the clients looking for engineering services in those sectors.
Steve Karlovic, CEO, said, “CDI has a long history in Philadelphia since our founding 72 years ago, but our business has evolved to specialize in providing Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management services to chemicals and energy producers. We will be closer to most of our clients and benefit from the rich talent the area has to offer.”
CDI will maintain a small office in Philadelphia to support its clients in the Northeast. CDI’s headquarters will move to CDI’s currently leased offices at 11200 Richmond Avenue in the Westchase District. CDI also has offices in Baton Rouge, LA, Beaumont, TX, Charleston, WV, and is expanding in the Midland, MI, and Louisville, KY, areas.
