Rythmia Life Advancement Center, a medically licensed wellness retreat based in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, is marking its 10th year of operation, underscoring a decade of activity in the global personal development and wellness sector.
Founded in 2016, Rythmia Life Advancement Center reports that more than 22,300 guests from around the world have participated in its programs over the past decade. According to internal post-program surveys, a significant majority of participants described their experience as personally transformative, citing improvements in clarity, emotional well-being, and life direction.
The center operates under Costa Rica’s medical licensing framework and offers structured retreat programming that combines clinical oversight with holistic practices. These include breathwork, yoga, personal development classes, and guided experiential sessions designed to support emotional processing and long-term integration.
Leadership at Rythmia attributes the organization’s longevity to its emphasis on safety protocols, professional supervision, and a structured approach to post-retreat integration. Over the years, the retreat has drawn international attention as interest in wellness tourism and immersive personal development experiences has continued to grow.
To commemorate the milestone, Rythmia is hosting anniversary programming throughout January, featuring alumni reflections, special events, and educational sessions focused on self-leadership, resilience, and sustained personal growth. The organization has also outlined plans to expand its educational and media initiatives as it enters its second decade.
Looking ahead, Rythmia’s leadership says the focus will remain on refining its core programs while broadening its reach through content, storytelling, and community engagement to support individuals seeking structured paths to personal development.
