Euro Capital Properties, an international hotel real estate development and management company, announced today Jon Chocklett’s appointment and promotion to executive vice president, sales and project development. The Watergate Hotel, located in Washington, DC, is owned and operated by Euro Capital Properties.
In this new role, Chocklett will continue his approach to attracting luxury hospitality leaders and the implementation of strategic revenue growth plans. He will also broaden his responsibilities in the areas of brand positioning, property enhancements and future development projects.
Chocklett previously worked with The Watergate Hotel in 2015 and led its reopening after a $125 million renovation. With over 22 years in luxury hospitality, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Euro Capital Properties and The Watergate Hotel. In the past, he has held leadership roles at Four Seasons Hotel Washington, D.C., Mandarin Oriental, Washington D.C., and the Sagamore Pendry Baltimore.
